The chef is back.
After over five weeks of rest, recovery, and rehabilitation, Stephen Curry is expected to return to the court for the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night for their game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters at Monday’s practice that Curry is probable for Game 2. Additionally, while Kerr has ceased declaring starting lineups prior to gametime for the playoffs, Curry is fully expected to play and will be without a minutes restriction.

The Warriors played quite well without Curry’s services in Game 1 against the Pelicans Saturday, winning 123-101 and displaying an offensive flow that often eluded them toward the end of their first-round series with the San Antonio Spurs. Curry’s return should nevertheless provide a boost, but the Warriors have to be reassured after Game 1 that they will be able to work Curry back into the lineup at whatever pace is necessary so that he and the team will be fully ready for whatever the rest of the postseason has in store for them.
