Yes you read that right.

The Houston Rockets have made a renewed bid to acquire Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler, a package that includes four first-round picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Four picks is the most a team is allowed to trade at one time during a seven-year period. The lottery protections on the picks would be limited according to Wojnarowski.

Though Butler has been trying to force his way out of Minnesota since the offseason, the Timberwolves have held onto him while continuing to field trade offers. The team has said that they are committed to trading Butler when they are presented with a satisfactory offer. Butler is set to hit free agency next offseason, and is expected to command something close to a max deal.

Butler, 29, is averaging 24.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.8 steals in his first four starts this season.
