49ers sign former Jaguars defensive lineman to reserve/future contract

The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed DL Kapron Lewis-Moore to a Reserve/Future contract.

Lewis-Moore (6-4, 315) was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round (200th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. In three seasons with the Ravens (2014-16), he appeared in five games and registered five tackles. He signed with the Chicago Bears on January 6, 2017, was waived by the team on August 29, 2017 and later signed to the Ravens practice squad on October 10, 2017, where he spent the remainder of the season. He then signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on February 6, 2018, was placed on the Injured Reserve List on July 31 and was later released on August 9.

A 28-year-old native of Weatherford, TX, Lewis-Moore attended the University of Notre Dame (2008-12), where he appeared in 45 games (42 starts) and registered 180 tackles (79 solo), 12.0 sacks, 22 tackles for a loss, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
