The Warriors received some good news Monday morning regarding a knee injury Klay Thompson sustained during last Thursday’s game against the Orlando Magic. Thompson received an MRI that came back clean and revealed no damage to his knee, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Thompson is expected to be day-to-day with a return based on how quickly he regains range of motion in his knee, league sources said. https://t.co/VmxG2xu1n9

Thompson injured his knee driving to the basket before falling down late in the game against Orlando. The Warriors ended up losing that game, but Thompson returned after being taken out in the final minutes.
Here’s the play that Klay Thompson tweaked his right knee. Looks like some knee-to-knee contact on the side, then it bangs down on the court. pic.twitter.com/4q6NjMLbTa

Thompson sat out Saturday when the team went on the road and beat the Philadelphiahia 76ers 120-117. The Warriors play the struggling Boston Celtics Tuesday, and it’s still not clear if Thompson will be available for that game. Steve Kerr is expected to give an update on Thompson’s status before Tuesday’s home game.
