The Warriors just lost their first Game 1 in the NBA Finals in their five-year Finals run. It was, however, the first time in that five-year span that the Warriors started the Finals on the road. That was evident in more ways than one on Wednesday night, as the raucous Toronto crowd was almost deafening from the moment, “Oh, Canada” was belted to kick off the game.

The Raptors’ home court advantage was also evident in the fact that rapper, walking meme and Raptors quasi-mascot Drake showed up to the game wearing a signed Dell Curry (who, of course, played in Toronto for the final three years of his career, where Stephen Curry spent the bulk of his middle school years) jersey and covered up his Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry tattoos with a sweatband.

After the game, Draymond Green was seen talking to Drake, as the two got nose-to-nose. This, and Drake donning the Curry jersey, came after the NBA spoke to the Raptors about Drake’s influence and presence on the sideline after he rubbed Raptors head coach Nick Nurse’s shoulders during the Eastern Conference Finals.

Green said, “We talked, we barked a little bit… but not what I would consider a scuffle,” when asked about the exchange afterwards.

While Green downplayed the interaction, Drake posted whatever this attempt at a dig was on Instagram after the game:
