“Kevin Durant reached out and said it’s B.S. what I’m saying…I should check my sources.”

We all know how much Kevin Durant stays locked in to what the media is saying about him. It appears things haven’t changed after his departure from Golden State.
On Wednesday morning, Stephen A. Smith reported on ESPN’s “First Take” that Durant told Russell Westbrook he was staying in Oklahoma City during the 2016 offseason, only to then sign with the Warriors and send Westbrook a text after the fact.
Before the show was even over, Durant texted Smith and told him the report was “B.S.” Smith said that he had more than two sources confirming the report, and said that Durant has multiple people lying about him if the report is indeed erroneous.
Interestingly, one of Durant’s former teammates, Kendrick Perkins, who is thought to be a mouthpiece for KD, confirmed Smith’s report on First Take the next day.
One thing you can be certain of: If you say something publicly about Kevin Durant, he’s going to hear about it and probably respond.
