The Chase Center can’t really be cursed right? Right???
A day after losing Stephen Curry to a broken left hand that is likely to sideline him for the majority of the season, Draymond Green hurt his hand during the second quarter of Friday’s game vs. the Spurs.
Green’s injury seems to be far less serious. He played through it for an entire half of basketball, and it was only revealed to be injured during his postgame press conference, when a reporter noticed it was wrapped up.
“I hurt my finger,” Draymond said. “Ligament action. It is what it is.”
Green said he had trouble gripping the ball following the injury, and that he wasn’t sure about his availability for Saturday’s game vs. the Charlotte Hornets.
“I don’t know we’ll see,” Green said when asked about his availability. “It’s pretty sore. I couldn’t grip the ball probably since the second quarter, which is why I was making a lot of one-handed, right-handed passes. I was dribbling a lot with my right hand ’cause I couldn’t really grip the ball. We’ll see. Hopefully it’ll calm down a bit over night but who knows.”

The Warriors are calling the injury a sprained left index finger.
