The 2020 NFL Draft is over and you know what that means: 2021 mock draft baby!

The Athletic’s Dane Brugler is first to start looking a year ahead to the 2021 draft class in a highly speculative, half-winking look at what could go down. The draft order is set based on an inverse of the current Super Bowl odds, which sees the 49ers sitting with the 30th overall pick.

With that pick Brugler believes the 49ers will address the offensive line in the first round for the second time in four seasons. Here’s Brugler’s breakdown:

30. San Francisco 49ers — *Alijah Vera-Tucker, OT/G, USC
Whether he stays at guard or moves to left tackle to help replace Austin Jackson, Vera-Tucker is a very talented blocker who impressed scouts as a first-year starter last season. He is a flexible blocker with range and quickness.

The first-overall pick is unsurprising, with Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence going to the Jaguars at No. 1. Brugler also has six defensive backs going in the first round, a position which will likely be at the top of the 49ers list come next offseason.
