KNBR and host Mark Willard introduce the all-new Broadcasters Path, aimed at providing unmatched resources for aspiring broadcasters while simultaneously searching for future talent.
In the coming months, Broadcasters Path will offer in-person events, but as we navigate these unique times, we are proud to be offering this one of a kind experience to connect virtually on March 20-21,2021. In this two day event held over zoom, participants will be given the opportunity to talk with seasoned professionals to gain guidance, support, and insider tips. On the 2nd day, each participant will have time set aside to share their own specific work to gather feedback and advice. One attendee will get to participate in Willard’s Summer Apprenticeship Program. Also, Broadcasters Path Awards will be handed out for all work submitted by attendees.
No matter what your specific goal in the industry is, Broadcasters Path will have it covered. Focused topics will include hosting, interviewing, commentary, writing, play by play, networking, and being on camera.
Willard will act as the lead host throughout the event. Here’s a list of the confirmed speakers so far:
