What a game. What a winning streak.
The Giants won their seventh game in a row on Tuesday, a come from behind victory over the Dodgers that culminated with a two-run Donovan Solano blast in the 11th inning.
After clawing back from a three run deficit, Brandon Belt tied the game in the ninth inning with a solo shot off Kenley Jansen, his second of the game. What followed was a seesaw battle that saw both teams trading runs in the first three frames of extra-innings, before Solano sent everybody home.
Before the home run, Solano, one of baseball’s best hitters during the first half of this abbreviated season, was 0-for-5.
