Sometimes there are no words.
That was the case for the typically clever Colorado Rockies official Twitter account, that couldn’t do anything but wallow in the misery after the Rockies were blasted by the Giants at Coors Field, losing 23-5.
“We typically have positive and encouraging words when tweeting the final score after losses,” the Rockies wrote. “Or some kind of clever approach.
“Not tonight.
“We lost 23-5. It sucked. Good night.”

To add insult to injury, the Rockies tweeted earlier in the day that “This month is going to be a good month.”
Well, at least it can’t get any worse.
