Kris Bryant’s walk-off, error, gives Giants wild 8-7 win over D-Backs

This one had everything.

After the Giants blew a 4-0 first inning lead and a 7-5 lead in the ninth inning, Kris Bryant got his first walk off in a San Francisco uniform, his hard hit ball to second enough to lead to an error that won the game 8-7.

LaMonte Wade Jr. scored the winning run from third with two outs on the board, after first baseman Christian Walker was unable to handle the sharp grounder. Walker was charged with an error that gave the NL West-leading Giants their third straight win and fifth in six games.

The Giants retook the lead in the eight thanks to a Brandon Crawford go-ahead double that scored Buster Posey from home.

Posey came up from his feet-first slide smiling and told Bryant, “I’m so fast.”
