Ivan Herrera drove in two runs as the St. Louis Cardinals rallied past the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 Sunday to complete a three-game sweep.

Masyn Winn hit a home run and scored twice for the Cardinals, who have gone 16-4 after starting the season 14-19.

Cardinals starter Sonny Gray allowed three runs on nine hits in six innings. John King (1-0), JoJo Romero and Phil Maton (second save) worked a scoreless inning apiece.

Eugenio Suarez went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBIs for the Diamondbacks, who have lost five straight games.

Arizona starter Brandon Pfaadt allowed three runs on five hits in 5 2/3 innings. Kevin Ginkel (0-2) took the loss.

St. Louis took a 4-3 lead in the seventh inning against relievers Ginkel and Jalen Beeks. Jordan Walker led off with an infield single, moved up on a groundout and scored on Victor Scott II’s single.

Maton escaped the ninth with the help of a great defensive play. Alek Thomas led off the ninth with a double, then Maton hit Geraldo Perdomo with a pitch.

After Corbin Carroll struck out, Ketel Marte hit a foul popup that third baseman Nolan Arenado caught crashing into the stands. Then Maton struck out Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to end the game.

The Diamondbacks took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on Marte’s single, Josh Naylor’s double and Suarez’s two-run single.

The Cardinals cut their deficit to 2-1 in the bottom of the inning. Brendan Donovan hit a two-out double and Herrera followed with an RBI single to extend his on-base streak to 16 games.

Winn’s third-inning homer to left tied the game 2-2.

The Diamondbacks moved ahead 3-2 in the sixth inning when Suarez hit a double and Pavin Smith singled him home.

The Cardinals tied it again in the bottom of the inning. Winn drew a leadoff walk, raced to third on Donovan’s single and scored on Herrera’s sacrifice fly.
