Junior guard Jizzle James, Cincinnati’s leading scorer last season, has been dismissed from the program, head coach Wes Miller announced Tuesday.”Jizzle James has been dealing with personal issues throughout the summer,” Miller said in a statement. “We removed him from the team last month. He is currently not a member of our basketball program. As this is a personal matter, I will have no further comment at this time.”James, the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Edgerrin James, was projected to be one of the top players in the Big 12 in 2025-26 after being named All-Big 12 honorable mention last spring.
