The magic continued on Friday for the San Francisco Giants. The Orange and Black made it seven in a row after Mets left fielder Dom Smith dropped what looked to be a routine fly ball in the bottom of the 10th inning. The error allowed Alex Dickerson, who was running hard with two outs, to score from first base.
The Giants suddenly find themselves in an interesting situation. Considered arguably the worst team in the National League at the All-Star break, San Francisco has improbably looked like a different team over the past few weeks, winning 12 of their last 14 games, including an improbable sweep at Coors Field.
