The man reportedly on the bubble is 2015 first-round pick Kevon Looney, and while Golden State might be on the hook for $1.4 million next season after picking up his option, the time has come to part ways.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be the organization featured on this year’s installment of HBO’s Hard Knocks, but they won’t the the only NFL team revealing behind-the-scenes footage from training camp.
“We’ve talked about this,” Bochy said following his team’s 6-3 victory Sunday afternoon over the Arizona Diamondbacks. “A long man, a swing guy. We had one of the best, and he’s still throwing the ball well…and that’s Petit. It makes it a little tougher when you don’t have those guys.”
“First day I talked to him he didn’t feel the symptoms as much as he did the previous ones. I guess what I’m saying is it seems milder to him, so that’s good news. But you don’t know with these concussions. He thought he was over it the last time and then it came back. So it’s going to take some time.”
