After months of rumors, it looks like Marshawn Lynch will be joining his hometown Oakland Raiders in 2017. Lynch took to Twitter shortly after the news broke, paying his respects to the Seattle fanbase, but expressing excitement to play in his hometown.

It appears the other shoe has finally dropped. Former Seattle Seahawks running back and Oakland native Marshawn Lynch is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Raiders later today contingent upon completing a physical.

On our radio show in the morning, Zaza Pachulia told us he got emotional when Kerr told the team in a private meeting he’d be stepping aside for some healing time.
