After blowing yet another ninth inning lead in a late night defeat on Tuesday, the San Francisco Giants still looked asleep on Wednesday, falling to the San Diego Padres 3-1 in another listless offensive performance at AT&T Park.
The San Francisco Giants are scheduled to open their 2017 season at the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, April 2 and play their home opener against the Diamondbacks on Monday, April 10, the club announced.
The Giants took a 4-1 lead into the 9th inning, but Hunter Strickland and Steven Okert couldn’t close the door on the Padres in a 6-4 loss Tuesday at AT&T Park.
