Steve Kerr, an Arizona alumnus, weighed in on the debate before his Golden State Warriors faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oakland. Kerr said he was disappointed in Miller’s actions, but that doesn’t mean he thinks schools should be able to pay athletes.

“We’re a championship team,” Green continued. “We’re not about to sit here and act like we’re this battered team that has had a horrible season, and like we’re looking for any glimmer of hope.”
