It was reported on Wednesday that the Warriors will be without Patrick McCaw for four weeks after the shooting guard suffered a small fracture in both his wrists.
Steve Kerr joined Tolbert & Lund Tuesday, and detailed how the Warriors’ players took ownership of the coaching duties during Monday’s shootaround and game.
While appearing on Murph & Mac Tuesday morning, Marcus Thompson of The Athletic shared which players he thought did the best job coaching Monday night against the Phoenix Suns.
“It’s not about anybody else,” Kerr said. “It’s about us. It’s something that we should be able to rectify. Hopefully tonight. If not tonight, in Portland (on Wednesday). And if not then, first thing after the break.
“We know what’s going on,” Steph Curry said Monday of the trade deadline. “We have an understanding of how people are trying to position themselves for certain matchups including us…or, especially us I should say…and that’s that.”
