Looking towards potential playoff matchups, Marcus Thompson told Murph & Mac on Tuesday morning that the Oklahoma City Thunder has the beat chance to best the Warriors.

The Houston Rockets got the best of the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, holding onto a 116-108 victory to snap Golden State’s 14 game road winning streak. One of the x-factors for Houston was young center Clint Capela, who finished with 18 points, and was a consistant problem for the Warriors in the pick-and-roll.

The Warriors were unable to rally for a late-game comeback against the Houston Rockets, a loss that snapped their road winning streak at 14 games.

Of the handful of NBA players that have complained about growing tensions with the officials this year, Draymond Green has been the most outspoken. Green said earlier this month that NBA referees are “ruining the game,” that things have gotten “personal,” and that one possible solution would be to replacing the current NBA officials with an “entire new crop.”

Tolbert & Lund caught up with former Warriors head coach, and fan favorite, Don Nelson on Thursday. Nelson called in from his home on the island of Maui, and was entertaining as always, discussing his frequent poker games with Willie Nelson, and the sudden breakup of the We Believe team, among other things.

Jordan Bell sustained what looked like a serious injury during the first play of the Warriors-Bulls game on Wednesday.
