It was turn back the clock night at Oracle Arena, but it wasn’t sponsored by the Golden State Warriors. Instead, the Denver Nuggets brought a rather retro approach to the defensive side of the floor.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been named the Week 12 Western Conference Player of the Week, the NBA announced today. The award is the first Player of the Week honor of the season for Curry and his 11th overall weekly recognition.

Following Saturday’s game against the Clippers in which he received a league-leading 11th technical foul, Draymond Green sounded off on the way NBA games are being officiated, saying that personal issues between players and refs have reached a boiling point.

In 126 minutes since returning from injury, Curry has now scored 144 points and hit 28 three-pointers, blowing away any concerns that might have existed about the health of his ankle and his fitness in general after spending three weeks on the sidelines.
