Aside from Kevin Durant’s dagger three-point shot that put the Warriors up with just 45 seconds remaining, the second-most important play in Game 3 may have been Andre Iguodala’s stripping of LeBron James, as he attempted a game-tying three with 12 seconds on the clock.

Since when has the NBA been like the NFL with a rotating cast of contenders and champions year in and year out?. In the 90s Michael Jordan won six [championships] out of eight times. In the 80s you had Magic Johnson and Larry Bird gobbling up most of the titles.

A Cleveland columnist slammed Stephen Curry in a piece posted on Cleveland.com Friday, accusing the two-time MVP of taking an “air-dump” while celebrating Kevin Durant’s go-ahead three-pointer late in the fourth quarter. The columnist called Curry’s intent obvious before trashing his character, referring to him as “arrogant, whiny, utterly classless.”

Kerr was asked what he made of all the former NBA greats denouncing the Warriors’ success. He gave one his most sarcastic — and best — answers of the entire season.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe published a piece on Thursday detailing the redemption of Draymond Green following last year’s debacle in the NBA Finals, where his suspension from Game 5 helped Cleveland get back in the series, and ultimately overcome a 3-1 deficit.

Last week, it was reported that the Los Angeles Clippers had reached out to Warriors consultant, and long time LA resident, Jerry West, to gauge his interest in filling a similar role for the Southern California team moving forward. With his contract up this offseason, West has yet to commit to Golden State beyond this year, and reports stated that West was considering the offer to move to the Clippers’ front office.

This is nothing new for Golden State families. A year ago, Steve Kerr’s daughter, Maddy, was elbowed in the head. Other slurs were hurled in the direction of the Kerr family.

Korver is the crux of what’s wrong with the way Cleveland’s roster is structured. GM David Griffin decided to focus on acquiring shooters to outscore Golden State, when in actuality, he should’ve been acquiring defenders. Every move should’ve been about toppling the Warriors, not what’s best to run through the Eastern Conference.

“Kevin Durant is a once in a lifetime player. I don’t think our league has ever seen a player like a Kevin Durant who is so unique. Let’s not forget he’s averaging [34 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists] in the NBA Finals, you just don’t do that.”
