Before Saturday’s Game 2 tipoff, the first game Steve Kerr has been on the bench for since Game 2 of the Golden State Warriors’ first round matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers, LeBron made a point to go over to Kerr and show some respect.
The noted Warriors fan took to Twitter and threw some shade at J.R. Smith for saying the Cavs can beat the Warriors when they’re playing their very best.
After the Warriors clinched the Western Conference Finals in San Antonio cameras caught Warriors players clowning Zaza Pachulia for not being able to fit a hat on his head. Thanks to JaVale McGee, that problem is now solved. Saturday McGee posted a video on his Instagram of a humongous NBA Finals hat, telling the camera that it’s for Zaza.
“Dirtying up the game?” Smith said. “I don’t know about that. They got one guy who keeps kicking people in the nuts. I don’t know about that. But we don’t dirty up the game. We just play physical. Some people don’t like physicality, and that’s what it is.”
OAKLAND – Game 1 of the NBA Finals featured extremely high level basketball. Kevin Durant scored 38, Curry went 6-of-11 from deep, and the Warriors only turned the ball over 4 times on their way to a commanding 22-point win.
But the most talked about storyline of the night might have been Rihanna yelling at Kevin Durant from the court during the game.
