Two days after Stephen Curry was on the business end of a screen from Spurs’ center Dewyane Dedmon that he deemed ‘dirty,’ the Warriors point guard was seen limping with an ice pack on his left knee following the team’s shoot around Monday morning.

Kevin Durant rocked the NBA world by making the decision to join the Warriors this past offseason, giving a Warriors team who won an NBA-record 73 games last year another All-NBA caliber player. Durant has proven himself to be especially valuable to the Warriors in the playoffs, putting up career highs in offensive plus/minus (6.4) and true shooting percentage (.651).

Zaza Pachulia told USA Today that he has received threatening messages in the wake of the closeout he made in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals last weekend, to the point where security was sent to his childrens’ school for protection.

The 7-footer is proving he’s capable of answering that bell. If the Warriors are parading around Oakland in late June, smart money is that McGee played a significant role in tearing down the Cavs.

This basketball team hasn’t played a poor game since March. They’ve won an unfathomable 26 of 27. In that one loss, the Warriors sat their starting lineup down the stretch. Golden State has so many superstars who do so many different things, certain guys can have off nights and this team can still blow you out. But when they’re on fire, like Saturday at the AT&T Center, their only worthy opponent is the Cavaliers.

It’ll be hard to top anything more embarrassing happening to an entire team than the 44-point loss the Boston Celtics endured at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. But as far as individual embarrassments are concerned, this is up there.

Here was the deep ball the San Francisco 49ers were looking for last season. David West’s pass to Ian Clark at the end of the first half of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals was a dart. But, probably more impressive was Clark’s agility in catching and finishing at the rim as time expired.

After being listed as probable to play Saturday morning, Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will play in Game 3 vs the San Antonio Spurs interim coach Mike Brown announced before the game. Iguodala will not be under a minutes restriction.

The Atlanta Hawks have reached out and secured permission to interview the Warriors’ assistant general manager sources have told NBA reporter Marc Stein.

The Spurs announced that Kawhi Leonard will sit out Saturday night for the second game in a row due to an ankle injury he aggravated in Game 1 of the series last weekend.
