Charles, the Warriors can play poorly from time-to-time on defense. They are not bad defensively. But go ahead, please keep spewing this nonsense. Providing correct, sound analysis obviously isn’t the goal of your broadcast.

Patrick McCaw made his first career NBA playoff start tonight against Portland, scoring nine points in 35 minutes of action. As McCaw was being interviewed postgame, Draymond Green snuck over and pinched McCaw’s ear, sneaking around to the other side of McCaw and doing it again just seconds later.

The most encouraging sign: This was not a game where either Steph Curry or Klay Thompson dominated and the victory still came in blowout fashion. This win was mostly organic with strong defense and slick transition offense

In the grand scheme of things, Kerr should be willing to jeopardize a game early in the playoffs to ensure Durant’s health. Call it overly cautious if you want. But if Durant aggravated the calf Wednesday — or worse, injured something else by overcompensating — and was out for an extended period of time, problems could arise.
