Coming into the season the Warriors were pegged with an over/under of 66.5 wins. They won 67. Las Vegas had them listed with 2-3 odds before the season began. Now that Kevin Durant is fully healed, not much has changed for the favorites.

The Warriors ended the regular season with a 109-94 win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. Looking ahead at this weekend’s first game of the series against the Trail Blazers, Stephen Curry says the team has a different mentality approaching the playoffs compared to last year.

Damian Lillard and Steph Curry will go after each other in an intriguing 1 vs. 8 matchup in the Western Conference.

Before the team’s Wednesday night game agains the New Orleans Pelicans, Lillard joined the CSN Northwest’s pregame show. He was asked if he thought the Blazers would beat the Warriors in either six or seven games, and Lillard went with six.

Kevin Durant was fantastic, scoring 24 first half points on 9 for 12 shooting. After starting 0 for 9 from downtown in his first two games back from a knee injury, Durant buried 5 of his 7 3s and played 27 minutes. Safe to say this was just the game he needed to get pep back in his step for the playoffs.

After debuting in the postseason on Saturday for two straight seasons, the Warriors will tip-off Sunday at 12:30 p.m. against the Portland Trail Blazers. Game 2 is expected on Tuesday or Wednesday in Oakland.

Kerr was broadcasting the deciding Game 6 during the ‘We Believe’ Warriors run in 2007. Priors to tip-off, the coach was asked if the crowd is as loud now as it was back then. Kerr gave a thoughtful answer praising the current Oracle crowd, but also mentioning they’ve changed.

This is the second year in a row the Warriors will face the Blazers in the postseason, after beating them 4-1 in the second round a year ago. Though it was over in five games, that series was closer than numbers indicate, with the Warriors needing overtime to win Game 4, and edging Portland by just four points in Game 5.

OAKLAND— Kevin Durant and Steph Curry were on the floor together tonight for the first time since Durant suffered a left knee injury in Washington back in February. Curry had a solid performance, finishing with 28 points on 9/16 shooting.
