The Warriors aren’t beating the Cavaliers unless Steph is dominant. And, theoretically, Steph is more dominant if he has confidence in his creative scoring genius heading into the playoffs. Durant’s injury could end up being another blessing in disguise for the NBA’s most dangerous franchise.

The Golden State Warriors have spent the past three regular seasons cutting through the NBA like a sharpened Ginsu. They have quite literally changed the face of professional basketball.

Thompson hit seven 3s Tuesday night on his way to a team-high 41 points. 13 of the last 14 games Thompson has played in he’s scored at least 20 points. Thompson was asked why he’s been on such a tear recently, and he pointed at the Bay Area weather.

Late in the 3rd quarter against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, Curry decided to get extra fancy with a behind the back pass to Andre Iguodala, who finished a nice contested lay-up.

McGee and Minnesota Timberwolves big man Gorgui Dieng got tangled up in the first quarter underneath the hoop. It appeared as if McGee nudged his leg into Dieng, who then chose to shove McGee pretty maliciously.

Glad Kerr didn’t have to battle with Draymond on this one. Rest should honestly be considered for Steph Curry and Klay Thompson at some point over these final five games, too.

“‘I was getting hella mentions on Twitter of how they did the same thing this season,” McGee said. “So, I mean, it’s whatever.”

Team employed broadcasters, such as KNBR’s own Bob Fitzgerald, no longer have a vote to cast in the race. The NBA’s reasoning behind the decision is that there are too many player incentives tied to the voting to have subjective voters
