Bryce Harper’s suspension reduced by MLB [report]
MLB handed down a six game suspension to Hunter Strickland, and a four game suspension to Bryce Harper on Tuesday, following Harper’s charging of the mound that led to a benches clearing brawl on Monday.

Williamson demoted as Giants call up Triple-A outfielder
Mac Williamson was demoted to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday as the Giants called up Orlando Calixte in his place. Calixte is a 25-year-old with three career MLB at-bats. He has hit .287 in Sacramento this season with eight home runs.

Strickland, Harper receive suspensions for brawl
Hunter Strickland and Bryce Harper were each suspended by the MLB on Tuesday in the wake of their benches-clearing incident on Monday afternoon. Strickland received a six-game suspension and Harper got four games, but both will appeal.

Krukow says Posey’s been told to stay out of the pile
Mike Krukow said on Murph & Mac Tuesday morning that Posey has been told not to get involved in big scrums, for safety reasons. He said Posey’s teammates are aware of this as well, and won’t hold it against him.
