After fielding multiple meetings with other teams on Saturday, Andre Iguodala has agreed to a three-year, $48 million deal with the Warriors, as first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Iguodala confirmed he’d be returning on Twitter shortly after.

The Warriors will meet with Andre Iguodala in Los Angeles on Saturday and offer him a three year deal, according to what sources have told Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group.

Free agent forward Andre Iguodala is currently in the process of taking meetings with various suitors, as he decides whether or not he will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors for next season and beyond. After meeting with the Spurs at midnight on Saturday, Iguodala had a meeting with the Houston Rockets on Saturday afternoon. The meeting apparently went “excellent,” and a contract offer was made according to Marc Spears of The Undefeated.

There aren’t many teams in the Western Conference that can challenge the Golden State Warriors, but the San Antonio Spurs happen to be one of them. That’s why a report from ESPN’s Chris Haynes indicating Warriors’ free agent Andre Iguodala will meet with the Spurs when free agency begins is such significant news.

It looks like Steph Curry can add another record to his long list of accomplishments. The two-time MVP had his jersey from Game 3 of the 2017 Finals sold on Thursday night for a record $135,060, the highest ever for a game worn item auctioned by the NBA.

The strategy of other presumptive contenders is to chip away at the Warriors any way they can. Losing Iguodala would accomplish that, and make it more difficult for the Warriors to repeat.

Then there’s today’s report that Warriors owner Joe Lacob is concerned with how re-signing Iguodala to a multi-year deal could affect the Warriors’ tax bill moving forward, and that Andre will begin fielding offers at midnight on Saturday, via Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Andre Iguodala is shaping up to have quite the busy offseason. Not only will he be one of the more sought after free agents on the market starting next week, but now it appears he’ll be pursuing some off the court ventures as well.

It’s been reported already that Andre Iguodala is expected to draw serious interest around the league when his free agency begins on July 1. New reports out Tuesday give a clearer picture of which teams exactly will pursue Iggy.
