Chase d’Arnaud

In Major League Baseball, there are two broad categories of players. There are those players who get drafted and succeed in minor-league baseball before making their way to the majors and staying there.

Chase d’Arnaud has been the Giants’ utility man this year, filling in for players at first, second, third and nearly at catcher.

On Friday night, Buster Posey was removed in the third inning of the Giants’ 6-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
