Stephen Curry is back. After a 58-game absence following a freak left hand fracture in his third game of the season, and two ensuing hand surgeries, Curry will return on Thursday night.

Injuries are the last thing you want to see in the penultimate regular season game, let alone one which has no postseason implications. 

OAKLAND – He’s getting close folks – at least, if everything goes according to plan.

Stephen Curry returned from a knee injury, pouring in 28 points in his long-awaited return, as the Warriors cruised to a Game 2 win.

The two-time NBA MVP appears set to return Tuesday night.

Curry has missed 14 straight games and 20 of the past 21 contests.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers joined KNBR’s Gary & Larry Friday morning. He reflected on the difficulty of Golden State’s playoff run without Stephen Curry.

Against a lowly Charlotte Hornets team that entered Oracle Arena with just 12 victories this season, the Warriors turned in an absolute clunker, losing 111-100 in a game that proved just how much Golden State misses the two-time MVP.

Steph Curry is still in pain. But at some point in the near future, it sounds like Curry will try to play through that pain.
