This summer, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith reported that LeBron James reached out to Kevin Durant, in an attempt to convince the back-to-back NBA Finals MVP to team up together with the Los Angeles Lakers.

For a preseason game that was missing two out of the four active stars for the Warriors, there was plenty to see at Oracle Arena tonight. 

It might be the preseason, but Steve Kerr is already in midseason form.

With a week left before the regular season kicks off, the Warriors’ roster continues to expand.

The Warriors put on a clinic against the Kings in the first game that’s been played there since the SuperSonics ceased to exist in 2008.

You’d be hard pressed to find a veteran NBA player or coach who don’t have fond memories of the Seattle SuperSonics.

Over the last four years, the Golden State Warriors have cemented their place as one of the most dominant teams in NBA history.

Don’t panic. Two of the Warriors’ cornerstones, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, will not play in the team’s second preseason game.

With a week of the preseason gone, Steve Kerr has two minor headaches. But his back feels good and he’s still the coach of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors.

Stephen Curry plays the game of basketball with a relentless drive. Apparently, that’s also how he pursues ice cream trucks.
