The Atlanta Hawks have reached out and secured permission to interview the Warriors’ assistant general manager sources have told NBA reporter Marc Stein.

The Spurs announced that Kawhi Leonard will sit out Saturday night for the second game in a row due to an ankle injury he aggravated in Game 1 of the series last weekend.

Warriors center Zaza Pachulia has come under fire for a closeout on Kawhi Leonard which aggravated an already injured ankle, and caused him to miss the rest of Game 1 as well as Game 2. On Thursday, Zaza’s teammate Stephen Curry discussed how the big man will handle the extra attention in San Antonio this weekend.

Stephen Curry was one of three Dubs named to an All-NBA team on Thursday. His 2nd team selection ensured he will be able to receive a rather sizable contract extension from Golden State when he becomes a free agent this summer.

Three members of the Golden State Warriors were named to the 2016-17 All-NBA teams the league announced Thursday morning.

San Antonio fan Juan Vazquez filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Pachulia and the Warriors organization on behalf of Spurs season ticket holders and San Antonio card shop What’s On Second, as first reported by the San Antonio Express-News.

Warriors center Zaza Pachulia left Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday with a heel contusion, and the MRI results reportedly came back negative on Wednesday. Golden State won’t play San Antonio again until Saturday, and Pachulia is day-to-day with the injury.

Ironically, in a regular season that was seen by many as a disappointment, the two-time MVP has been on a tear through 10 games this postseason, and is playing the best basketball we’ve seen from him in over a year.
