OAKLAND— Kevin Durant and Steph Curry were on the floor together tonight for the first time since Durant suffered a left knee injury in Washington back in February. Curry had a solid performance, finishing with 28 points on 9/16 shooting.

Kevin Durant suited up with his teammates for the first time since injuring his left knee in a loss to the Wizards on February 28. Durant finished with 16 points in over 30 minutes of game action.

The Golden State Warriors announced Thursday morning that Kevin Durant has been cleared to return to full-team practices, and that he is expected to return to the court for Saturday’s home game against the Pelicans, barring any setbacks.

The Golden State Warriors have spent the past three regular seasons cutting through the NBA like a sharpened Ginsu. They have quite literally changed the face of professional basketball.

Thompson hit seven 3s Tuesday night on his way to a team-high 41 points. 13 of the last 14 games Thompson has played in he’s scored at least 20 points. Thompson was asked why he’s been on such a tear recently, and he pointed at the Bay Area weather.

The Warriors have won 11 games in a row, and point guard Stephen Curry has shot 46.5% from 3 since the team’s last loss in San Antonio.

As pointed out on Monday morning by the Bay Area News Group, however, based on the Wizards’ own definition, they have disrespected the game on multiple occasions this season.

Sunday’s matchup against Washington was his fifth consecutive 20-point game. When asked by a reporter after the game what’s made him “special,” Klay stared blankly and shrugged before gathering an answer that simply began with, “I don’t know, just been doing what I do.”

During Sunday night’s 139-115 win against the Wizards, Curry led the team with 42 points, one of his highest-scoring games of the season. He’s been averaging 25 points per game so far, but Sunday’s standout three-pointers and layups were, according to Steve Kerr, “phenomenal.”
