After Tuesday’s season opener head coach Steve Kerr told the media he’s not worried about the offense, but his team’s defense needs to improve if they want to meet their lofty expectations.

In the 3rd quarter of Tuesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs Draymond Green got called for a technical foul when he yelled after a big dunk. When asked about if he would tone down his emotions going forward to cut back on the technical fouls, Green had a quick answer.

Kerr and Duncan played four seasons together as teammates in San Antonio. Before the season opener, Kerr reflected on his relationship with the future Hall of Famer, as well as what he expects from the Spurs without him.

Most of the excitement about the upcoming Warriors season has been surrounding possibly the best starting five in NBA history. Kevin Frandsen expects the Warriors to win at least 70 games again this year, but he says it will be because of Golden State’s second unit.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr joined Tolbert and Lund on Friday, and said that rookie second-round pick Patrick McCaw is one of a handful of new players that has turned some heads with his high basketball IQ.

According to an ESPN report, the Golden State Warriors have elected keep second year forward Kevon Looney through the 2017-18 season, picking up the third year team option in his contract worth $1.2 million.
