After a rough spring, it was reported that Jarrett Parker was released by the Giants on Friday evening.

In light of losing Madison Bumgarner and Jeff Samardzija to the disabled list, Derek Holland reportedly will replace Jarrett Parker, who was designated for assignment, on the 25-man roster.
