Are the 49ers locked into Jimmy Garoppolo? Well, he’s still their quarterback, and while they’ve sniffed around, they’ve stuck with Garoppolo.

If you don’t know the story, it goes a little like this. When Tom Brady was 37 years old back in 2014, the Patriots drafted Jimmy Garoppolo.

Kirk Cousins is one quarterback who will always be linked to Kyle Shanahan.

Matthew Stafford is a Los Angeles Ram. At this juncture, it can very easily be argued that the 49ers have the worst quarterback in the NFC West.
