So the rumors that the 49ers were considering swapping Tom Brady with Jimmy Garoppolo weren’t completely untrue. How true they were exactly has to do with how you define “considering.”

The conversation may be swirling about how secure Jimmy Garoppolo’s place as the 49ers’ starting quarterback is, but there’s no question he has large support in the Bay Area and beyond.

There are some obvious positions in the upcoming draft that the 49ers could or should look to address.
