After his two solo home jacks were responsible for the Giants only runs in their four-game season opening series with the Dodgers, Joe Panik went yard again during San Francisco’s home opener on Tuesday at AT&T Park.
Panik once again gave the Giants a 1-0 lead over the Dodgers, just as he did on Opening Day against Clayton Kershow, this time going yard off Kenley Jansen in the bottom of the 9th inning on Friday.
San Francisco Giants baseball has returned to AT&T park, and with that, an infield that boasts multiple gold gloves. Joe Panik, Brandon Crawford, Buster Posey, and now Evan Longora all bring some serious defensive hardware with them to the defensive side of the ball.
