OAKLAND, Calif. – The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have announced the team’s roster and schedule for the inaugural California Classic Summer League to take place in Sacramento from July 2-5 as well as the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2018 in Las Vegas to be played from July 6-17. Warriors Assistant Coach/Player Development Willie Green will serve as head coach of both Summer League entries.
After spraining his ankle on Tuesday night, the Warriors announced Jordan Bell is be ruled out against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, along with Patrick McCaw and both David West and Andre Iguodala are listed as doubtful.
Andre Iguodala doesn’t get up like he used to, but he almost threw down a contender for dunk of the year over a 6’9″ 23-year-old…his own teammate Jordan Bell.
With the starting center position currently in a state of flux, rookie Jordan Bell is slated to return at just the right time for the Golden State Warriors. That time is likely to be Monday night according to the team’s official injury report, that lists Bell as probable to play in Madison Square Garden against the Knicks.
After missing roughly five weeks due to an ankle injury, rookie center Jordan Bell could return to the court as early as this weekend after putting in a full-contact practice on Wednesday.
