It’s the same team Durant started the season 50-9 with, only nearly everyone has elevated their level of play the last three weeks. Steph Curry’s assists sky-rocketed, Klay Thompson’s scoring became more consistent, Andre Iguodala is arguably playing his best basketball since arriving in 2013.

Steve Kerr joked on Monday that he’s not going to bring back Durant because the team is on an 11-game winning streak without him. But in all seriousness, the Warriors are thrilled to have him back before the postseason before the inevitable adjustment period.
