Oakland Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree was suspended by the NFL for two games without pay on Monday, following his involvement in a brawl during the Raiders-Broncos game on Sunday, in which he threw punches at Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib (who has also been suspended two games), after Talib ripped off his chain for the second time in as many years.
Though Michael Crabtree was healthy and suited up for the team’s showdown with the Denver Broncos, Crabtree didn’t even last through the team’s first drive on Sunday, earning an ejection after brawling with cornerback Aqib Talib.
For the second time in a calendar year, Broncos’ cornerback Aqib Talib and Raiders’ wide receiver Michael Crabtree went at each other, and on both occasions, Talib wound up snatching Crabtree’s chain off of his neck.
Beast Mode? More like Peace Mode. When Sunday’s game at the Oakland Coliseum took a chaotic turn, there was only one man who could ease the tensions: Marshawn Lynch.
