This was a classic spoiler game for a Warriors team (then at 25-44) destined to draft Stephen Curry in the upcoming NBA Draft.

OAKLAND — As the final regular season game in Oracle Arena history, Sunday was an evening of tributes. One came via Stephen Curry, who showed up to the arena in a Monta Ellis jersey.

The former Warrior and current Indiana Pacer was suspended 5 games for violating the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.

Before the game, Stephen Jackson, Monta Ellis and Jason Richardson held a press conference to talk about the legacy of the team. They were also visited by special media guest Baron Davis.

The Bay Area has had a plethora of superstars and hall of fame players represent its professional teams, but most of those players spent many years with the franchise that made them great. What about those guys who started their careers somewhere else, and then came to the Bay Area for several years and were instant hits with Northern California fans.
