Through two games, Johnny Cueto looks like a different pitcher than we saw in 2017. Coming off his worst year as a pro after posting a 4.52 ERA, Cueto has been nearly flawless in his first two starts of 2018, allowing just one run in 13 innings of work.

Pablo Sandoval got his first start of the 2018 season on Wednesday, and boy did he make it count.

Fifteen years after he managed his last ballgame with the Orange and Black, Dusty Baker is once again a San Francisco Giant. The organization made the announcement on Monday morning, that Baker will rejoin the club as a special advisor to CEO Larry Baer.

With Madison Bumgarner likely out for at least a couple months with a broken left hand, the Giants will need a number of young pitchers to pick up the slack.

Derek Law was optioned to Triple-A on Monday and Mike Krukow told Murph & Mac the following morning it’ll be a while for him to get back to the major leagues, unless he makes key improvements.

Although Sam Dyson’s numbers haven’t been pretty this spring, Mike Krukow reassured Murph & Mac on Thursday morning that it’s nothing to worry about. Rather, Dyson’s struggles stem from his efforts to make a key adjustment in his delivery.
