The Giants are reportedly calling up third baseman Jae-gyun Hwang from AAA Sacramento ahead of the July 1 opt-out date he had in his contract if he didn’t get called up to the bigs by then.

Giants broadcaster Mike Krukow joined Murph & Mac on Friday and said that he was impressed with Kyle Crick’s first ever performance in a major league uniform.
If the Giants drop 100 games, it would be the first time a team with an Opening Day payroll of more than $150 million has ever lost more than 93 games.
