Summer League

Well that didn’t last long. Any hope that Warriors fans had of Jimmer Fredette making the opening day roster have been squashed, amidst a report from Mark Medina of the Bay Area News Group that the sharp-shooting guard has left Golden State’s Summer League team after just two games.

Though not yet official, it has been rumored for a few days that former BYU sharpshooter Jimmer Fredette will join the Warriors summer league team this offseason.

OAKLAND, Calif. – The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have announced the team’s roster and schedule for the inaugural California Classic Summer League to take place in Sacramento from July 2-5 as well as the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2018 in Las Vegas to be played from July 6-17. Warriors Assistant Coach/Player Development Willie Green will serve as head coach of both Summer League entries.

Throughout the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League, Lonzo Ball’s shoes have been as big of a story as his on-court performance.

McCaw led the Summer League Warriors in scoring for the third time in four games on Wednesday and raised his summer scoring average to 20.0 points per game.
