Warriors will celebrate “We Believe” team Game 1 vs. Jazz
The 2006-2007 Golden State Warriors pulled off one of the great upsets in NBA Playoff history, knocking off the top seed Dallas Mavericks in the first round in six remarkable games. Back then, there were no “splash brothers” or record-breaking seasons. Stars like Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, and current Warrior Matt Barnes fed off of the resounding energy inside Oracle Arena and shocked the world. While they lost to the Utah Jazz in the second round, the team and the energy they brought to the Bay Area have resonated ever since.
