OAKLAND – After the contest Stephen Curry said Dwayne Wade didn’t have a “loud” game, but you couldn’t miss the 37-year-old in what looks to be his final game at Oracle Arena.
The 13-time All-Star had 10 points, nine assists and six rebounds on the evening, as well as a perfectly-timed double team on Kevin Durant in the final minute of the game that turned into two quick points on the other end of the floor.
Ultimately Kevin Durant avenged his miscue, pulling the Warriors to a 120 – 118 win, but the hosts had nothing but respect for the future hall of famer after the game.

“We understand how important he has been to the game throughout his career,” Curry said. “No matter who you root for throughout the league, you respect greatness, in terms of what he has been able to do throughout his career. Tonight wasn’t a loud night but he had some pretty influential plays and it seems like he’s got a lot more in the tank.
“That’s what I told him after the game, ‘Are you sure?…I know you got a lot of stuff going on off the court with gamily and all that. Are you sure you don’t have a couple more years left in there?’”
The Warriors video board showed a tribute to Wade before he came into the game in the first quarter, and Wade said he took note of the standing ovation he received from the fans at Oracle.
“It was great man. It was amazing. They really put some thought into that. Afterwords I said to my teammates that, it was dope. It was a great tribute. I appreciate Steve Kerr and the Golden State organization and the fans for the ovation. It was a fun environment to play in.”
